Young artists from across the region bring their work to Sioux Falls on March 5th, as part of the Emerging Artist’s Showcase. The semi-annual juried exhibition, sponsored by Rug & Relic Gallery and 8th & Railroad Center, attracts dozens of entries from across the region.
The 13 artists chosen for the March 5th show represent various genres of art, from ceramics and painting, to photography and graphic design. The purpose of the showcase is to provide young and/or unrepresented artists the opportunity to show their work to the Sioux Falls Community.
Featured artists include: Mychal Bennett, Christopher Francis, Shawn Lykken, Jay Kirschenmann, Derek Meier, Kiel Mutschelknaus, Jess Elofson, Amber Pate, Shaine Schroeder, Eli Show, Leah Simmons, Geneva Twedt, and Sarah Zobrist.
The Emerging Artists’ Showcase takes place from 5-9PM on March 5th at Rug & Relic Gallery, with an artists reception. This event is free, and open to the public.
