Our Community Arts Center continues to develop, as we work towards re-opening our facility in the coming weeks, for our programming efforts such as the Chautauqua Series, and a few fresh surprises too! Here’s a quick update for all of you:
- We will be adding to our identity in the coming weeks, with a new name for the Arts Center, an announcement will be made at our next meeting, which is April 1st, at 7pm, at the Arts Center. There is also an active & ongoing poll, so be sure to vote, and suggest a name too!
- New graphics will be added to the Arts Center in early April, as soon as the weather breaks for the better, featuring our new name!
- New flooring surfaces will be added to the Arts Center as well, along with some fresh paint, and restroom improvements too.
- New programming will be announced in the coming weeks, which will offer more opportunities to be part of our growing community, so be sure to follow us, and join us!
- Our leaky roof is also scheduled to be addressed in the coming weeks, when better weather comes along, which is why we announced our closure several weeks ago. A big thanks goes out to Jon Hunter, our building owner, who has been incredibly supportive and understanding, and has shown his great concern for our ultimate success, building a vibrant arts community here in the Madison Area! Thanks Jon!
- We always could use a few extra hands, if your interested in painting or handiwork, or just interested in general, let us know at contact@madisonareaartscouncil.org. We’d love to hear from more of you, so feel free to jump in!
