Over this coming week, we have two really great opportunities for you, our local community member, to enjoy and take part!
- Come enjoy the sounds of a children’s’ handbell choir, as our ongoing Chautauqua Series features Julie Gehrels and the St Peter’s Lutheran Church Handbell Choir of Wentworth on Saturday, April 17th, at 10:30 a.m. at the Madison Public Library Community Room. This event, as with all of our Chautauqua Series programs, is free & open to the public, and refreshments will be served. What a great way to start-off your weekend!
- Looking to create art, great conversation, and meet some new friends, then look no further as Third Place Nights kicks off on Wednesday, April 21st, from 7-9 p.m. at The BrickHouse Community Arts Center, located at 106 SE 2nd St, in downtown Madison. We’ll be making ‘Art happen’, as we work together to build a vibrant arts community, though this innovative open-studio approach. Everyone is welcome, from writers to poets, from musicians to bloggers, from beaders to knitters, from painters to sculptors, we’ll make it happen, all at The BrickHouse!
