With snow like this, it seems like a good time to check on one of our neighborhood favorites, Dakota State professor Alan Montgomery.
Alan has worked this past fall on a new series of mixed-media paintings, on 6 inch plywood squares, collectively entitled ‘Sweet Crude/BP’
Nice stuff, Alan. (and send that snow-blower around too)
Now good folks, we’ve been coming after our neighborhood artists, and our neighborhood is a big one, so send us some work, links, and even words, and we’ll see what happens next. contact@madisonareaartscouncil.org

The Feeling of panic…
There are no leash laws in Lake County or in SD in general. This means that if a hound molests you on your bicycle, it’s your problem. If you fall off your bike while fleeing or trying to protect yourself…same. Why is it that dog owners can be allowed that kind of freedom, while the unlucky cyclist has to act like a panicked animal??
