‘Platon Alexis Hadjimichalis of Brussels, Belgium is a pioneer in the use of organic materials. Originally inspired by low tide seaweed in Normandy, he’s produced a remarkable body of work in three categories: Sea, Earth & Sky. His meticulous abstractions highlight natural wonders usually disregarded. From Derek John’s in London to Deyrolle’s in Paris, I’m honored to have his work in Natural Selection 2.0 at Dakota State University’ - Destry Sparks, Curator.
