What’s on your agenda?

Well, we’ve got a busy month ahead, and we need some hands, minds, and just a little spirit to make it all a success! Really, it’s how things, beautiful things at that, happen, thrive, and make a lasting difference for our community.

That’s my best pitch for this month, and just a reminder, all of forthcoming agendas and past minutes can be found on our website.

Madison Area Arts Council monthly meeting, 7pm, The BrickHouse, 106 SE 2nd St. We’ll see you there!


Jump aboard friends, our next meeting is Thursday

We’d love to see a few more of you at our monthly meetings, which are held the first Thursday of the month at The BrickHouse Community Arts Center at 7 pm.

It’s easy, it’s simple, but it does need you to come and take part, and join in helping us provide the very best in programming and opportunities for our great community. We’re all dedicated volunteers afterall, if we want to make something incredible happen, something special, we must all work together, united behind a common purpose and cause. These meetings are the best chance to do just that, connect, share, and make things happen!

We’ll see you all, yes, everyone is welcome, on Thursday, August 5th, 7 pm, at The BrickHouse, Madison.


Meeting scheduled for Thursday

Our next monthly public meeting is scheduled for Thursday June 3rd, at 7 pm, at The BrickHouse Community Arts Center, which is located at 106 SE 2nd St, in Madison.

The agenda for the meeting is available online, as always, and we’ll be discussing our forthcoming White Night festival and a multitude of other great community projects.

We need a lot of dedicated hands and minds working together to make these projects a success, and these meetings are your best opportunity to get involved with us, and make a real and lasting impact for our community. 

We’ll look forward to seeing you all there, and be sure to bring a friend too!


Next meeting is Thursday…

Our next meeting is this Thursday at 7pm, at The BrickHouse, here in Madison.

These monthly meetings are your best opportunity to come forward and become an active part of the council, as we’re completely comprised of dedicated volunteers. Don’t worry, we all started somewhere, so join us, and together we can make beautiful things happen!

Next Meeting date moved a week…

The next regular scheduled meeting for the Madison Area Arts Council, which was scheduled for May 6, has been pushed back another week to Thursday, May 13, at 7pm at The BrickHouse.

Just a reminder, all of our meetings are open to public, and you’re encouraged to attend, and become a much more active part of our efforts, especially the forthcoming White Night festival. We need a lot of hands, minds, spirits to make this an incredible success, so feel free to join in!

We’ll look forward to seeing you all there!


Meeting Reminder…

Our next regular scheduled public meeting is this coming Thursday, April 1st, @ 7pm, @ (The BrickHouse)Community Arts Center.

We’ll be discussing: 

  • Past, current, and forthcoming Chautauqua Series programs
  • Third Place Nights
  • Announce our new name for the Arts Center
  • Review the new window graphics & signage for the Arts Center 
  • An update on the facility and progress report
  • …And as always, enjoy being one of the leading Arts Councils in the State!

Meetings are Available Online…

All of our recent Madison Area Arts Council Minutes and Agendas to our past and forthcoming meetings are always available online, for your review. You’re encouraged to print a copy of the Agenda before our next scheduled meeting, which are usually available a week prior to the scheduled date. Minutes of these scheduled meetings are usually available about a week after. 

Reminder, all MAAC meetings are held the first Thursday of each month at the Community Arts Center at 7pm, and the public is always welcomed and encouraged to participate. The next scheduled meeting is April 1st, we’ll look forward to seeing you there!

The Madison Area Arts Council is made up of dedicated volunteers, everyday people just like you, working together to build a vibrant community, here in our own backyard – the greater Madison Area.

There’s no membership fees, no tickets to purchase, essentially were free & open and here for you! Our organization is a unique cooperative of talented individuals, striving to provide for the very best in Arts & Cultural programming opportunities, for everyone to share, enrich, grow, and otherwise enjoy.
